Port Diskson

Port Dickson has always been a constant attraction for locals in need of a well-located holiday spot. Fondly referred to as ‘PD’, this quiet coastal town is located just 32 km away from Seremban and 80 km away from Kuala Lumpur. This makes it a very nearby sea-side destination, closer than other beaches for city-folks from the Klang Valley. In addition, PD’s beaches are not cramped to a single spot, but the whole length of the road that runs along the seaboard to PD are likely beach-side leisure areas.
Nice place to relax from full week of working, quite a nice spot to watch the sunset.

uncle selling ice-cream,
Come on over, make Port Dickson your next holiday destination. ~~ ;)

Combodia Trip

Visit Angkor Wat and other century old temples, which are architectural marvels of Khmer civilization. In Phnom Penh, you will get a glimpse of what happened in the infamous Toul Sleng Museum and the killing field.

As you approach the palace, the most notable feature on the outside is the large open pavilion built onto the outer wall. Although it appears to be a reviewing stand to allow the royal family to view events or speak to the people, according to all descriptions, the pavilion is actually used for moonlit dance performances. A short way along the outer wall from the dancing pavilion is the large Victory Gate, traditionally used only by the royal family.

Tuol Sleng Museum, known as the Museum of Genocidal Crimes it was used by the Khmer Rouge as a detention and torture center in the late 1970. Today the building houses exhibits, paintings and photographs of many of the victims. Visitors can see the crude cells built in the classrooms and the torture devices used to extract confessions in Stalinesque purges of the regime. Open daily from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
